The weekend was a busy one for sure! We arrived Fri night and mommy & daddy got to grab a bite to eat alone! First time away from my baby! After we ate, Brian asked if I wanted to go anywhere else, but of course I was ready to get back home to see the little one. It was a good couple hours to ourselves though!
We went shopping for an Easter dress Saturday morning with Grandma O. We found a pastel/plaid one we liked. It was a little big, but it was the smallest size we could find. We thought she looked pretty darn cute in it. Then Saturday afternoon, Mackenzie met her great grandparents for the first time! Mackenzie is the first girl on the Oligschlaeger side of the family for quite some number of years. Saturday evening was occupied by taking Mackenzie to the hospital Brian's mom works at, to weigh her! We were at the pediatrician's at her 2wk birthday, but won't go again till she's 8wks, so we really wanted to see what she weighs now. Drumroll please....she's a whoppin' 9lbs 2oz! Almost 2lbs since birth! Guess momma is feeding her well!
My parents showed up Sunday morning for Easter brunch. We had a wonderful brunch with everyone and Brians brother and his wife came over in the afternoon. Unlce Eric and Aunt Caitlin looked pretty comfortable with a baby in their hands! We had a great Easter seeing family and wished it could have lasted a bit longer!
