- Brian was home with Mackenzie and I last Friday, this Monday and Tuesday...we got spoiled with daddy's presence
- Mackenzie is staying awake longer during the day
- Mackenzie slept close to 3-4hrs a couple nights and almost 5hrs another night!
- Mackenzie loves swinging in her swing and watching the mobile
- Mackenzie moves her head from side to side more
- Mackenzie loves to look at bright lights (including the TV...oops, hope we're not forming a bad habit already!)
Things to work on this next week:
- Getting Mackenzie to continue those "longer" sleep hours at night
- Brian and I need to learn our nursery rhymes and lullabies (we've had to stop singing and hum through some of them, ha)
Overall, things are good. She still gets colicky in the evenings, but we're learning to get through it and just hope this phase passes sooner than later. But nevertheless, we love her more and more each day.

my mother swore by the swing, day and night. I hollered like a Banshee for about 7 weeks, it was the only thing that shut me up.
