Update!

It's been awhile, I know...but doesn't everyone get super busy around this time of year? Here's a little update on what the O's have been up to...

We made our trek up to KS for Thanksgiving last Tuesday. We were able to see Brian's grandparents, my parents, and of course Brian's parents. But, Mackenzie also got to meet one of her uncles for the first time! Brian's youngest brother, Jeff, really played with Mackenzie and was so cute with her! As usual, it was like a traveling road show and we were ready to be home! Our little Mackenzie just doesn't do well at other places and seeing so many new people. Home sweet home....until Christmas...

Mackenzie has really picked up a few new things in the last couple weeks! She now says momma! I braced myself to hear dadda first, just like everyone told me, but she surprised me! So even though she may have taken a little longer than some of her little friends to talk...it was well worth the wait! She also started waving her arms/hands together like she's trying to clap. It is the cutest thing to watch! And finally...we think Mackenzie is starting to wave! She'll stick her arm and hand out to the side and move her fingers. It use to be coincidental, but now it seems to be the real thing!

Christmas cards are ordered, a few presents have been bought and some decorations are up...Christmas is coming, whether we're ready or not!
